What services am I paying VentraIP for?

VentraIP provides a whole suite of services, so you could be paying us for one or a number of things. The services we provide include (but are not limited to):

Shared cPanel Web Hosting

Our shared cPanel web hosting services suit a range of life stages of websites and most probably your email addresses too. These products provide a physical location in which to store your websites files and emails, providing you with a physical presence on the internet.

All of our hosting services are what we refer to as “Select Hosting” plans. You can read more about what a Select Hosting plan is here: What is “Select” hosting? . Some common names for our popular Select Hosting plans include Starter+, Freedom+ and Premier+

Domain Name Registrations

Domain Name Registrations are what make you findable on the internet, and are required to run a website. A domain name is your .COM, .COM.AU, .NET identifier which makes it possible to type in your business or personal name to visit your website or send you an email. If you’re maintaining your presence on the internet, these are required.

Email Hosting

We offer dedicated/standalone email products, you may be using this kind of service to send/receive emails and update your calendars.

If you have received an invoice for EMAIL STARTER, EMAIL or EMAIL PLUS. This is likely for this service.

Google Workspace

We offer Google Workspace, which is Google’s Business/Enterprise grade email solution. It includes Google Apps, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

If you have received an invoice from us, and the line item mentions Google Workspace, as well as a domain name. It’s likely for this kind of service.

SSL Certificates

SSL Certificates assist in securing information exchange between your website and your client’s browser, preventing data sniffing during information exchange (such as a client entering their credit card details in your webstore).

We don’t automatically invoice for SSL Certificate renewals, but if you do receive an invoice for an SSL Certificate it’s because you or someone with your details has arranged the charge.

Virtual Private Servers (VPS)

Virtual Private Servers are services for power web users and owners of busy/successful website operations. These services provide you with guaranteed server resources and a physical space in which to store your website files and emails, providing you with a physical presence on the internet.

You may also receive invoices with Self Managed or Fully Managed VPS in the line item description. Invoices like this are also for VPS products.
