Setting up your email account in Spark for Mac
Downloading the Spark Mail App
You can download the Spark Email App via the Apple App Store.
Setting up your account for the first time
- Open the Spark Email App. If this is your first time opening the app, you will be prompted with a short introduction
- Click Start Using Spark.
- Input the email address you want to set up, then click Next.
- The next screen will ask you for a name for the account and the password.
- Click on Additional Settings.
- Fill out the fields on this page:
- Inbox server (IMAP)
- Username: your email address.
- Password: the password for your email account.
- Server: locate your email server here.
- Port: 993
- Protection: SSL
- Outbox server (SMTP)
- Username: Your email address.
- Password: The password for your email account.
- Server: This should be the same as the Inbox server.
- Port: 465
- Protection: SSL
- Inbox server (IMAP)
- Click Add.
- Spark will process to verify your account using the details provided.
- Once the verification is complete, click Start Using Spark.
