Increasing the maximum file upload size for WordPress
You may be prompted to increase your upload limit if WordPress is telling you that your upload files are too big. Here’s how to increase those limitations from your PHP configuration!
- Navigate to cPanel’s Select PHP Version section.
- Then, click the Options tab.
- WordPress uses the POST method in PHP to upload files – so the most important value to increase here is post_max_size. Ensure the value for upload_max_filesize is increased respectively to the same amount or greater.
- That’s it! Changes made in this PHP Selector tool are applied automatically.
