Checking bandwidth usage on a VPS service

There are a couple of options for monitoring your VPS bandwidth usage.

Firstly, within your VPS you should have bandwidth monitoring setup within your operating system or your control panel platform (i.e. cPanel).

Additionally, we provide bandwidth usage data within VIPcontrol – See steps below:

1. Login to VIPcontrol.
2. Click on the My Services option on the top left of the page > VPS from the menu below.
3. Select the Manage button for the VPS that you wish to view.
4. On the next page, you will find your bandwidth displayed under the Resource Usage area.

You will be able to use this area to track your bandwidth usage at any time.

NOTE: VIPcontrol’s bandwidth usage may report higher than the software within your VPS. This is due to the fact that we measure data going through ports, which your software cannot see.
